Exploring

There were lots of places on the beach for energetic boys to explore.

You can do it Andrew! You can do it

Ice cream

Of course, there was ice cream to churn afterwards.

Kevin drew the lucky number that let him lick the beaters.

Mr Bear

"Hello Mr. Bear." How often does a ten year old from Pennsylvania get to talk to a bear? Uncle Marty was back paddling by this time.

Never too young (or too short) to learn to steer the boat. Good for you Andrew!

Climbing

OK. I promised David he could climb the mast before the trip ended and the next thing we knew, it was a race. "On your mark."

Good going Dave!

  Dave

Andrew

Not to be left out.  Even young Andrew got a chance to go aloft although he doesn't look like he's too sure about it here.

Happy faces all around (That's Captn' Rick standing tall in the back).

Sea Monkey

And now for the bad news. The "sea monkey" wins!

Time to head home. The Skookumchuck crew. See you in a couple of years guys. It was a grand trip!
