| We saw bears! Lots of them. At one point there were 13 black bears on the same beach. And even though she seems pretty concerned in this photo, Heidi was pretty happy about all the wildlife we saw. |

| And before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye. From here, the Rowells were on to other Alaskan adventures aboard the Alaska State Ferry system. Skagway and Juneau were all on their list. We hope the rest of their trip went as well as the first part. |
