 The "grandson cruise" - Mid-August

The "grandson cruise!" I don't know who felt the waiting the longest.
Henry and Kyle who, at twelve and ten, were finally coming on their
first trip to Alaska, or "Grandpa Ted" who had been anticipating their
coming since they were born.

And lots of fishing to do. Lots of fishing

 

Roaming on the beaches There were beaches to roam.
 

 

Shrimp to clean. Shrimp to clean

 

Tree climbing And trees to climb.


 
And boat driving lessons all around. Of course, you have to have a
polka dot hat just like grandpa to do that!

And before anyone was ready, it was time to say good bye. Here are two
boys who in one day got their first airplane ride, saw their first real
mountains, stepped on Alaskan soil, saw a glacier and got on board
grandpa's sailboat. Who knows what their next trip will bring?
